01What MatchMaker is

MatchMaker is an independent Discord bot for competitive Fortnite matchmaking — skill-based team finding for tournaments and creative practice queues (1v1, 2v2, 6s, 8s). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Discord, or Fortnite.

02Eligibility

You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement to use Discord at all, and by extension to use MatchMaker. You're responsible for any activity that happens under your linked Discord and Epic accounts.

03Acceptable use

When using MatchMaker, you agree not to:

• Abuse, spam, or attempt to manipulate the matchmaking queue (e.g. deliberately misrepresenting your skill level, evading match acceptance, or automating queue actions with bots/scripts)
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or interfere with MatchMaker's servers, database, or underlying infrastructure
• Use MatchMaker to harass, abuse, or endanger other players
• Impersonate another player or misrepresent your Epic account identity

Violating these terms may result in suspension or termination of your access to MatchMaker, at our discretion.

04Account linking

Using MatchMaker's tournament and skill-matching features requires linking your Epic Games account via Epic's own OAuth login. You're granting MatchMaker permission to read your public competitive stats (Power Ranking, recent placements) to power matchmaking — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what's collected and how it's used.

05Pricing and access

MatchMaker is currently free to use for all players, for an undetermined period. We may introduce paid access in the future; if we do, we'll communicate this clearly in advance, and it won't apply retroactively to change what you've already been told about current access.

06No warranty

MatchMaker is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Matchmaking, tournament schedules, and player stats depend on third-party sources (Epic Games, Fortnite Tracker) that are outside our control — we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or that matches will always be found in a timely manner.

07Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchMaker and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot — including missed tournaments, matchmaking errors, or account/data loss.

08Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of MatchMaker after a change means you accept the updated terms.
